Jimi Hendrix Once said:
" It's funny the way most
people love death. Once you are dead you are made for life.
You have to die before they
think you are worth anything...".
September 18, 1970, Jimi Hendrix, the
most influential guitarist that ever lived, suffocated in his
own vomit after an overdose of barbiturates.
Jimi was the single most revolutionary
exponent of electric guitar playing in the sixties.
He did things with his guitar
that no one imagined possible. He was the first guitarist to make
professional use of feed-back and effect-apparatus. Without any electronic gimmickry
he produced a whole range of sounds never heard before. He was
a creative genius whose bizarre innovations can never be forgotten
with such classics as 'Hey Joe', 'The Wind Cries Mary', 'Purple
Haze', 'Wild Thing', 'Star Spangled Banner', 'If 6 Were 9' and
'Voodoo Chile'
Jimi Hendrix is a legend whose
magic is inimitable even today. He is the greatest guitar hero
that ever lived.
